I experience the gathering as a slice of time where one can emotionally disarm oneself. The three questions you ask are key to this, since it immediately steers us away from the purely cognitive to the very fabric of our lives. The deep unheard, unfelt. One does not even know oneself what is there, until it is revealed as one speaks.
For me one of the circle’s most transforming qualities is the absence of verbal feedback. One is finally able to hear one’s own words, received in silence, unaltered. No solutions.
I feel deeply comforted by our shared selves.
This type of gathering has tremendous significance to me.
